Norristown Ministries Crosswalks Program is designed to assist under-resourced individuals who are ready for full-time employment. A full-time job is the foundation that can launch participants toward self-sufficiency and economic success. Our week long training program aims to educate and develop participants in order to secure and maintain these opportunities. On top of this week long curriculum, participants will also receive ongoing support for the first year of employment.
Norristown Ministries Progressive Steps Program provides the following services to assist you in becoming financially independent, all at no cost to you:

- Workplace Behavior & Readiness Guidance
- Finance & Budgeting education
- One-on-One Employment Coaching
- Connection to local employers
- Transport resources
How will this program assist participants?
The program aims to place each participant in a full-time employment opportunity with health benefits. These opportunities treat every individual with dignity and provide resources to support their families as well. Our aim is to help participants help themselves by removing the barriers and obstacles to employment.
